Philmac VersaPHIL Parallel Thread

A truly versatile float valve suited to a wide range of applications, the Philmac VersaPHIL float valve has a high pressure shut-off of 1,400 kPa and can deliver high flow rates of of up to 426L/min.

The lever assembly is manufactured from DZR (dezincification resistant) brass. This means they resist corrosion. This prevents the weakening of the brass leading to premature failure.

Rather than a one-piece lever with a narrow cam this new cam is wider to provide significantly greater strength. It provides greater resistance to damage by stock.

A simple pin and stainless R-Pin hold the lever assembly in place. The pins can be removed without any tools, which makes lever adjustment, installation and maintenance a simple task and saves time and effort.

The valves is available in either ¾” or 1” parallel thread inlets and is supplied with a rubber sealing washer and plastic back nut.

FAQs

What is the difference between parallel and tapered threads?

Parallel threads maintain a consistent diameter for sealing with gaskets or washers, while tapered threads rely on thread interference for sealing.

Does VersaPHIL® comply with Australian standards?

Yes. VersaPHIL® valves are manufactured to meet AS/NZS requirements for water infrastructure.
