From 2025 We’ll Be Powered by 100% Renewable Energy

Philmac’s parent company; Aliaxis has announced that in line with its environmental sustainability commitment, its entire Pacific operation will soon transfer to 100% renewable energy. This means that Philmac will be totally powered by clean energy from 2025.

The Philmac commitment to sustainability means that we’re already well down the path of renewable energy with a 504-kilowatt system mounted on our Adelaide-based manufacturing facility and offices generating an incredible 729,000-kilowatt hours of energy every year. However, on our behalf, Aliaxis has just completed contracts to ensure all operations in the Pacific region will be powered by 100% renewable energy from 2025 which now gives us a clear date for this important step. 

We have realised this critical goal by implementing Power Purchase Agreements linked to renewable generation assets with clean energy partners in Australia. These partners will provide Aliaxis with clean energy generated 100% from renewable sources from 2025. 

This agreement will also see Philmac’s affiliate companies improving their green credentials too with Aliaxis operating 16 other sites across Australia and New Zealand through its portfolio of brands which include Vinidex, Zest, Yatala Plastics and Rodney Industries in Australia.
