Overview / Why Choose This Product
Philmac Servo Tank Filling Valve is engineered for high-demand water delivery and shut-off in large-scale applications. Its unique servo action ensures reliable closure at extreme pressures while allowing high flow rates. Compact design reduces float size and lever length, making installation easier in confined spaces. Built from corrosion-resistant materials and approved for potable water, this valve is trusted for critical systems where performance matters.
Key Features
High-pressure shut-off – rated to 2000 kPa for mains and industrial supply
Servo action design – ensures reliable closure with smaller float and lever
High flow capacity – ideal for rapid filling of large tanks
Compact body – fits confined spaces like fire service tanks
Corrosion-resistant construction – DZR brass body, stainless steel seat, nitrile seals
Applications & Benefits
Applications
- Fire service water tanks
- Industrial water systems
- Bore scheme tanks
- Large agricultural reservoirs
Benefits
- Consistent water levels – reduces manual monitoring
- Reliable shut-off – even under extreme pressure

Note: Always confirm size, pressure class, and compliance requirements against the official datasheet and local standards.
Installation Guide
- Attach valve to tank inlet using BSP threaded connection.
- Apply PTFE tape or approved sealant to the inlet thread for a watertight seal.
- Screw valve into female thread by hand until firm, then tighten using a spanner or pipe wrench on the hex body.
- Fit lever arm and float – thread the lever through the copper float and secure with cotter pin.
- Pressurise and test the system for correct operation and shut-off.
- Fine-tune float position for optimal water level control.
